Accepting these terms and how they may change
These terms form the agreement between you and Gamebookers Casino. By opening an account, making a deposit or playing any game on the site, you confirm that you have read them and that you agree to be bound by them.
A few other documents apply alongside them: our privacy policy, which explains how we handle your personal data; the terms published with each promotion; and the rules and help screens of the individual games, which govern how each game pays.
We may change these terms, for example to reflect a change in the law, our regulatory obligations, the games we offer or the payment methods available in the cashier. The current version is always published here with the date it takes effect, and where a change affects your rights in a material way we tell you by e-mail or by a message in your account beforehand.
Eligibility, your account and verification
We hold a gaming licence and are required to confirm who our customers are. The conditions below apply for as long as your account is open.
Who can open an account
- You must be 18 or over. We do not accept registrations from anyone younger, and you must not let anyone under 18 use your account.
- You must be resident in the United Kingdom and able to use our service lawfully from where you are playing.
- One account per person. If duplicates are opened, we may close them and hold any related balance while we look into it.
- The details you give us must be accurate and complete, and you must tell us when they change.
- You must use the account for yourself, and not on behalf of anyone else.
- You must not be registered with a self-exclusion scheme, including GamStop, or self-excluded with us.
Keeping your login details safe
Your username, password and any security answers are personal to you. Do not share them and do not let anyone else play on your account. Tell us straight away through live chat or support@casinogamebookers.co.uk if you think someone else has had access, and we will suspend the account while we check. Until you tell us, play and transactions carried out with your details are treated as yours.
Verification checks
Before your first withdrawal we must confirm your identity, age and address. We may ask for photographic identification, a recent document showing your address, and evidence that the payment method belongs to you. These checks can be repeated at any time while the account is open, and we may hold withdrawals until we have what we need. If it turns out you were under 18 when you played, winnings are void and deposits are returned.
Source-of-funds checks
Where our obligations require it, we may also ask you to show where the money you deposit has come from. We ask only for what we need, keep it no longer than we have to, and handle it as set out in our privacy policy. Questions about documents can go to privacy@casinogamebookers.co.uk.
Deposits and withdrawals
You can deposit using the methods shown in the cashier once you are logged in. The money must be your own and must come from an account in your own name; we do not accept payments from third parties. Minimum and maximum amounts, any fees and expected processing times are shown in the cashier, as they differ by method.
When you withdraw, we return the money to the method you used to deposit wherever that is possible. Where it is not, because the method does not support payments out, we use an alternative in your own name. Withdrawal requests may be held while verification or payment checks are completed, and we will tell you what is outstanding.
We do not pay interest on account balances. If a game, the cashier or a bonus credits you in error, we may correct the balance and recover the amount; where an error has left you short, we put that right as well.
Bonuses and promotions
Every offer we publish comes with its own terms, and those terms apply alongside these ones. Read them before you opt in, because they set out what has to happen before a bonus becomes cash you can withdraw. Typically they cover:
- the qualifying deposit and any code needed to claim
- the wagering requirement, and how much each type of game counts towards it
- the maximum stake allowed while a bonus is active
- the period within which the bonus and any winnings from it must be used
- any cap on the amount you can convert to your cash balance
Bonus funds are held separately from your cash balance. If you withdraw before a wagering requirement is finished, you may lose the bonus and anything won with it.
We expect offers to be used as intended. Opening more than one account to claim the same promotion, low-risk betting patterns used only to clear wagering, and acting together with other players to take value from an offer all count as abuse. Where we find it, we may remove the bonus and any winnings that came from it, and stop including the account in future offers.
Safer gambling, closing or suspending an account
Gambling with us is for adults aged 18 and over, and it should stay affordable. In your account you can set deposit limits, set loss and session limits, take a short time-out, or self-exclude for a longer fixed period. A limit that lowers your spend applies immediately; one that raises it takes effect only after the cooling-off period shown in your account.
GamStop lets you exclude yourself from all online operators licensed in Great Britain in one step. Free, confidential advice and support are available from GambleAware, GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline.
Closing your account
You can ask us to close your account at any time through live chat or support@casinogamebookers.co.uk, and we return any withdrawable balance once the usual checks are complete. If you have self-excluded, we will not reopen the account before that period has run its course.
When we may suspend or close an account
- you breach these terms or the terms of a promotion
- we find duplicate accounts, or details that are false or belong to someone else
- you do not complete verification or source-of-funds checks when we ask
- we suspect fraud, money laundering, collusion or other criminal activity
- the account has been inactive for the period set out in your account settings
- we are required to act by law or by our regulatory obligations
We tell you when we take this step, as far as we are permitted to, and we return any balance that is properly yours.
Complaints, our liability and governing law
Making a complaint
If something has gone wrong, contact us through live chat or write to support@casinogamebookers.co.uk with your username and an account of what happened. We acknowledge complaints promptly and give you an answer within a reasonable time; where a matter is complex, we keep you updated while it is looked into.
If you are still not satisfied
Once we have sent our final answer, you can refer the matter free of charge to the independent dispute resolution service we use. Ask our support team for the current details. We co-operate with that process, and using it does not affect any other rights you have as a consumer.
Our responsibility to you
We provide the site and its games with reasonable skill and care, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted. We are not responsible for problems caused by your own device or internet connection, or by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
