Betting and Game Rules

These rules explain how bets and spins are placed and settled at Gamebookers Casino, and what happens when a round, game or connection does not complete as expected. They apply alongside our Terms & Conditions and the terms of any bonus you are playing with.

General rules that apply to all play

You may hold one account only, and you must be 18 or over to place a bet with us. Play is for your own benefit and from your own funds. We hold a gaming licence and verify the identity of account holders, so we may ask you for documents before a withdrawal is paid.

Your balance may be made up of real money and bonus funds. Where both are present, stakes are taken in the order shown in the cashier, and bonus funds stay subject to the terms they were credited under until any wagering requirement is met.

  • Every bet is placed at your own risk, at the stake, bet level and lines selected on screen when you confirm it.
  • Once a bet is accepted it is final. We cannot cancel, change or refund a bet because of a mis-click, a wrong stake or a change of mind.
  • Autoplay, turbo spins and quick bet are your own instructions to the game and settle in exactly the same way as manual play.
  • Play may be suspended on an account that is subject to a KYC check, closed, self-excluded or restricted at your own request.

How bets and spins are settled

All games run on game servers, not on your device. The screen you see displays a result that has already been generated and recorded. Where your display and the server record disagree, the result held on the server is final and is used to settle the round and your balance.

Each game carries its own rules, paytable and bet limits, which you can open from the information or help button inside the game. Those in-game rules form part of these Betting Rules and govern how wins are formed, how features trigger and how combinations are paid.

  • The return to player (RTP) figure is shown in the help screen of each game. It describes expected return over a very large number of rounds, not over a session.
  • Results come from a random number generator and are independent of earlier rounds, of your stake and of how long you have played.
  • Wins are paid in line with the paytable at the stake the round was played at, and any maximum win cap in the game rules applies.
  • Unfinished features and free spins are held with the game and can be resumed when you next open it, subject to the game's own expiry rules.

Malfunctions, errors and disconnections

A malfunction voids all pays and all play for the affected round. This standard rule covers software, display and communication faults, and any result a game produces outside its own rules or paytable. Stakes from a voided round are returned, and winnings that arose from the fault are removed.

If your connection drops, the round carries on at the server. Open the same game again and it will either resume where you left off or settle automatically, with any result credited to your balance. The balance you see after reconnecting is the correct one.

  • Where an incorrect paytable, price or amount is displayed, the round is settled at the correct value set out in the game rules.
  • Funds added to an account in error remain ours and may be removed. Please tell us if you notice a credit you did not expect.
  • If a game is withdrawn or a provider's service ends, unfinished rounds are settled under that game's rules, and anything that cannot be resolved is returned as stake.

Bonus funds and promotional play

Bonus funds, free spins and other promotional credits are played under the bonus terms that applied when they were credited, together with these rules. Those terms set out the wagering requirement, the qualifying games and the period in which a bonus must be used; you can follow your progress against the limits shown in your account.

  • A maximum bet applies while a wagering requirement is open. Rounds placed above it may be voided, along with any winnings they produced.
  • Games contribute to wagering at different rates, as set out in the bonus terms. Some games and some bet types do not contribute at all.
  • Play that aims to secure a return from a bonus rather than to play the game, including low-risk or equal-and-opposite betting on table games, is not permitted.
  • When a bonus expires, the remaining bonus balance and any winnings still tied to it are removed. Your real-money balance is not affected.

Live casino and table games

Live tables are dealt by a dealer in a studio and are recorded. The dealer's actions and the result called at the table are final once the round closes. Every table has its own help section covering bet types, payouts, side bets and limits, and those rules apply to play at that table.

  • Bets must be confirmed within the betting time shown on screen. Late or incomplete bets are not accepted and the stake is returned.
  • A card dealt in error, a ball that leaves the wheel or any other irregular deal is handled under the table rules, which may mean the round is void.
  • Table limits, minimum bets and the number of available seats are shown at the table and can change.
  • Chat is moderated. Abusive messages may lead to chat being withdrawn or the account being restricted, and we may close a session where a seated player is inactive.

Queries and disputes about a round

If you believe a round has settled incorrectly, contact us before you carry on playing the same game. Write to support@casinogamebookers.co.uk or use the live chat on the site, and include:

  1. The game name and, where shown, the table or room.
  2. The date and time of the round, and the time zone you were in.
  3. The round or game reference from the game history in your account.
  4. The stake, the result you saw and the result you expected.

We check the server record and game history for that round and reply with what it shows. Where a game provider holds the record, we ask them for it, which can take a little longer, and we will tell you if that is the case. Our answer explains the outcome and anything that is credited or returned.

If you are not satisfied, you can take the matter further under our complaints procedure, which sets out each stage, how long we take and the alternative dispute resolution service that can look into the case once we have issued our final response.
